Located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, JUN seeks to elevate the Chinese dining experience by bringing a modern twist to traditional Sichuan cuisine in a contemporary and cozy space. The menu will showcase wok-fired dishes, handmade pork belly buns, braised beef stew soup with fresh noodles made in-house, and Shandong-style dumplings made from family recipes. JUN will also have a full bar serving handcrafted cocktails designed to complement JUN’s robust Asian flavors.
Named after chef/owner Jessie Wong’s Chinese name, JUN is a lifelong dream for the mother and son team. Jessie and her son Jack come from a long line of chefs and restaurateurs and have been working together since they opened Szechuan in Roseville in 2009. Born and raised in Shandong and having worked with Sichuan food for over a decade, Jessie incorporates both her heritage and personal food journey into the menu. Jessie and her talented team are working hard to present authentic and innovative Chinese dishes that will ignite your palette and leave you wanting more.
